Manstal Ltd completed the refurbishment of the landlord’s areas within the Mailbox.

As the project was carried out in a fully operational shopping and leisure facility this presented many working constraints that had to be overcome by detailed planning and phasing of works. On top of this, many of the electrical systems worked upon were linked to Hotels, Restaurants and the BBC studios in the complex.

This project included may elements of electrical installation as listed below.

  • LV Panel upgrade and extension (all completed during out of working hours to reduce the disturbance to the shopping centre and their clients).
  • Small Power requirements general and feature.
  • Lighting – fully controllable feature lighting system complete with an addressable lighting control system.
  • CCTV – Installation included a full WIFI package and a public counting system to monitor foot fall of the shopping centre.
  • Access Control – General security access control for back of house operations.
